After just over a year from the initial Adobe CS5 release, the massive graphic software company releases a 0.5 upgrade to the current release of the software. Adoble CS5.5 is now available for direct download from the design and development site.

The latest release brings the usual round of improvements and minor updates to the software, but the biggest change is within the new HTML5 and mobile app capabilities.

Released April 2010, CS5 became a big hit around the design and development market. CS5.5 includes updates to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Flash Builder Premium, Flash Catalyst, Flash Professional, Dreamweaver, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Since the last release, Adobe has caused lots of hype around HTML5 and Flash authoring features that makes this application ahead of the game. Its video production and editing innovations, as well as its digital publishing capitalizes on the fact that Adobe makes a spectacular product that is used in the professional and amateur environment.

Adobe is promoting this version of Creative Suite as being cross-platform web, mobile and tablet design and development.

The way Adobe releases its products, has given them time to focus on the rapidly expanding mobile-development market. Its two tools that helps get this done, AIR and Flash, makes it an ideal tool for mobile developers and designers.

Adobe is particularly excited about tablet development that has been built-in using the Folio Producer toolset to create interactive publications on mobile platforms.
