The day is finally here, the next installment in the Call of Duty: Black Ops series is here. It’s here and it’s even better that the first version. Available on PC, Xbox, and PS3 there’s a supported platform out there where you can get this game. We go even deeper into the Black Ops story by first going back in time to see where it all began.
In the game there are three distinct modes of gameplay, there’s campaign, multiplayer, and zombies. All three make up the game and outstanding gameplay overall.
Although I just started the campaign, I don’t want to into too many details to prevent spoiling the gameplay too far. The first few levels take a look at the back story of your main character and move on from there. The graphics of this game overall is very improved from the first game and the engine while still older than other, works very well and doesn’t distract from the main point of the game.
The multiplayer mode is even more enjoyable with high quality maps and enjoyable gameplay. There are a lot of new maps that are very challenging and fun to play as you move along with all of your favorite gameplay. One map that I’m happy to see included in the game, is the update to the popular map, Nuketown 2025. This is a modern retro town that we’ve all come to love in the game of Black Ops.
One last mode that I’m sure a lot of people are happy about is Zombies. The makers have gone above and beyond with the new Zombies map, not only offering just survival maps but different gameplay maps that pit you against each other or even follow a story line.
Overall I’ve enjoyed my short time with this game and hope that this first look will provide you with a greater understanding for the game.
