Apple Education Event 2012 [LIVE BLOG]

If the rumors are correct Apple will be releasing educational products to combat expensive textbooks. New apps, hopefully for both iPad and iPhone, may be coming out soon that will bring all textbooks into the could and digitize them.

Putting textbooks into the could will do many things to current education. First, it will make them cheaper, way cheaper than current day textbooks. Next, it will integrate different kinds of media, videos and other interactive content can be added to these text books to create a immersive educational experience.

Apple’s sopposed release of ebook creation tools will mean big things, not only for textbooks but the evolution of the iPad. With the release of these tool the iPad could gain an even greater share into the market with schools buying iPad to put textbooks onto like the FAA did to flight manuals.
