Facebook Shutting Down On March 15th [Fake]

Mark Zuckerberg announced today that Facebook will be shutting down in March. Zuckerberg says that managing the site has become too stressful.

“Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”

Zuckerberg went on to announce that starting March 15th, user will not be able to access their Facebook accounts or anything related to the Facebook Connect service.

“…if you ever want to see your pictures again, I recommend you take them off the internet. You won’t be able to get them back once Facebook goes out of business.” said Avrat Humarthi, Vice President of Technical Affairs at Facebook.

“I personally don’t think it’s a big deal, and to be honest, I think it’s for the better. Without Facebook, people will have to go outside and make real friends. That’s always a good thing,” said Zuckerberg in a phone interview.

On the contrary, Facebook users will be in an outrage, Facebook is the top social media site on the web to date, and cutting off 500 million people from connecting is not a very good idea.

The financial world is a buzz, criticizing Zuckerberg for walking away from a multi-billion dollar company. Ranked as one of the worlds wealthiest businesses Zuckerberg is a fool to leave.

“I don’t care about the money,” said Zuckerberg. “I just want my old life back.”

Facebook suggests that users remove all of their personal information from the website before March 15th. After that date, all photos, notes, links, and videos will be permanently erased.

NOTE: This post and the source is not credible, this has been an internet meme jumping around Twitter all day and we decided to write a post on it. Please do not delete your Facebook account. We have no conformation that Facebook will shutdown. And because of the financial gains of the company it would be better to sell it off anyway.
