Get Free Chipotle Food for Watching A NBC Promo
In the first of its kind today NBC is launching a promotion offering free Chipotle food for anyone on Facebook who watches a 90-second promotion video for the upcoming show America’s Next Great Restaurant.
NBC is using an app on the show’s Facebook Page where, in exchange for watching a 90-second video the user gets a buy-one get-one free coupon at Chipotle. This promo is thanks in part to one of the four investors of the show, Steve Ells, Chipotle founder and CEO.
Visitors who print out the coupon can get a free Chipotle meal that includes whither a burritos, tacos or bowl with the purchase of another meal. Hurry fast because the promotion ends March 6.
If you don’t have a Facebook account or don’t have the attention span to watch a 90-second video, Chipotle is running an in-store texting promotion that offers a change to get a catered burrito party. All the person had to do is text “ANGR” (America’s Next Great Restaurant) at any Chipotle location to have a chance to win.
This is the first time where NBC is using free food to get consumers to watch a show promo. However NBC has used some other methods to attract users. Just last year, NBC launched a loyalty program called Fan It that rewards users who promote, interact and discuss NBC shows.
America’s Next Great Restaurant, premieres March 6, and squares off 21 contestants against each other as a panel of judges decide whose wacky restaurant concept is the best. The winner gets their dream of launching their own restaurant chain.
