How To Unhide the Library Folder in Mac OS X Lion
If you’ve upgraded to OS X Lion and wondered where your Library folder has gone, it has been hidden. For some reason in the transition between Snow Leopard and Lion Apple has decided to hide the Library folder which houses the settings and information for your applications and the computer.
There is a simple way to fix this issue in terminal, open up the terminal and put this line of code, make sure you’re an administrator so it’ll go through:
sudo chflags nohidden ~/Library/
You might be prompted to enter your administrator password, after that you’re done and when opening up your drive folder you’ll be able to see front and center the Library folder.
