Lala's Streaming Service Closes May 31st
Months after Apple acquired the music streaming service Lala, Apple has decided to shut down the service. At least they don’t leave you empty handed. If you don’t know about the service, Lala is a  site for online music discovery and purchasing that was acquired by Apple on December 4, 2009 by Apple for $17 Million. After the announcement, they stopped accepting new users for the service and terminating current users on the site on May 31st 2010. Although the service will be terminated, the credits on Lala will be converted to Apple’s iTunes credits. It is hard to say if the service will be integrated to iTunes or iPhones, iPod Touches, and the  iPad, but it raises a point that it may be integrated cause WWDC 2010 starts a few days after the termination of Lala. Only time will tell.
