PlayStation Store Back Online

After about 11 delays and a month of downtime, the PlayStation Store is back up and running. With the PlayStation Store being back up and running, it now means that the Playstation Network is restored to their fully functional state before the attacks (except Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea), closing a chapter in the saga. Since the Playstaion store was down, there is a huge lineup of new games, demos, add-ons, DLCs, avatars and videos to be downloaded. While the store is up, it is expected for the service to be slow and users will be receiving error message “Error 80710D36”. This is due to the hundreds of thousands to millions of people trying to use it at once.

Although the Playstation Store is back up, the “Welcome Back” offer is not available currently. From Sony’s post, the content promised are in the final testing phase and will be announced when the package is available.
