Sitting down has become a customary in daily life for just about everyone in the world. Most of us do it for around eight hours a day at a desk job, this might be the worst thing we do to our health.
We’ve been hearing for years about the benefits of stand-up style desks, they’ve been around for awhile now and is nothing new. A recent study showed that people who sit for most of the day are 54% more likely to die of a heart attack. For people like me and others who sit at their desks from the time they get up to the time they sleep because they work mainly on computers have an even higher risk.
