YouTube Bumps Upload Limit Again
Those long funny videos that you have been watching on YouTube are going to get even longer. YouTube bumps upload limit again, and we love it.
As released in the YouTube blog, users who have a history of staying within the YouTube Community Guidelines and other copyright rules will no longer be limited by the current 15-minute upload limit. YouTube hasn’t said though, how long the upload limit has been pushed up to.
If you have been accepted into the new limit update go to YouTube and click the “Upload” button at the top of site. You should see a status message on the top notifying you if you qualify.
Back in July, YouTube, made an announcement that increased its upload time limit from 10 to 15 minutes. That was due to YouTube beefing up its copyright protection tools making it less likely that users could upload movies and TV shows without permission. The new limit is also a result of advances in the YouTube copyright tools.
