Domain Names 101: How To Avoid Disaster

When starting a company, one of the most important things is the domain name. Picking a domain name can be the make or break for your company. You don’t want anything that includes a lot of dashes or confusing. It needs to be simple and short.

A lot goes into picking a domain name, I personally spend a couple of days thinking of domain names when I go to pick out something. Another question is the top-level domain name, if you want to make serious money .COM is the way to go and by far the most popular. But, you also have to think that top-level domain names such as .COM don’t always have to be a must, sometimes the uncommon one does best.
