Instagram Integration With FaceBook Begins

After dropping a cool billion dollars acquiring Instagram, Facebook is now beginning to do something with it. Facebook announced that they are integrating Instagram with Facebook beginning with the Instagram filter functionality in the Facebook app. Facebook has said in on their Brazil site (for some reason)…

[Translated] As part of our efforts to establish a better Facebook experience in all types of phones, we are very happy to announce that the Facebook application to any device now has filters sepia and black and white to your photos. Take a picture, play with the new filters and share them with your friends directly from your application.

As they said on their post, they are initial rolling out with the usual Black and White and Sepia filter in the Facebook app. It is very likely to assume that they are going to slowly implement more Instagram filters into the Facebook as time passes till the Facebook app with have the same amount of filter as the Instagram app.
