Verizon To Refund $90 Million to Users
Recently, Verizon announced that they will refund a total of $90 million dollars to roughly 15 million users that were overcharged for use of data. The customers that will get a refund are those why were wrongly charged for data use. This was due to the FCC pressuring Verizon after a number of complaints. In Verizon’s press release, they said that most of the data were minor data exchanges caused by software built into their phones. Most customers reviving a refund will average between $2-$6 with a few receiving larger refunds. The refunding will be in effect starting later this month and lasting till November.
