When searching for a job and going to interviews you may be asked to surrender your social media passwords so that employers can review your online life. Sometimes when your online profile is private employers will ask for your password because they cannot view your online profile. The big question about handing over your social media password is your privacy, is it right for employers to require you to hand over your social media passwords?

This is the big question today because with our ever-growing social online interactions, employers want to know everything about you more personally. There are a lot of legal actions around handing over something like your passwords that can put them liable for what you do online and open up a big lawsuit.
