Starbucks Offering Free Wi-Fi At All Stores
Hey all you coffee junkies, if you like bringing your notebook to your local Starbucks shop and hate either paying to use the internet or not having the internet available, well your in luck. Well starting July 1 Starbucks will offer free Wi-Fi nationwide, with no registration or account required. And to add more gold to the pot, Wi-Fi will not be time limited.
Starbucks is joining a ever increasing list of chains offering free internet to people who stop by. This list includes chains like McDonalds. Starbucks has signed a partnership with AT&T to setup Wi-Fi hotspots at all of the Starbucks locations and should be all complete by July 1.
This new deal between Starbucks and AT&T does away with the registration process that you have to endure before you can use Starbucks current Wi-Fi hot-spots and Starbucks gets rid of the two hour limit for internet usage.
In the plans from Starbucks they are creating a network with Yahoo that gives you access to premium sites like WSJ.com and other sites that cost a fee to use. You would be able to use this on any device that is connected to the Starbucks Digital Network.
