Google's Android 2.3 Source Code Released

Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) has been released from Google and is now in the Android open source project repository to be downloaded and analyzed. Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) changed the UI of the mobile OS with changes in design of the status bar, keyboard, and menu; performance improvements; added more video and audio codecs; access to multiple cameras; integrated VoIP support;  and added more features. While the source code is available to be downloaded currently, the group is requesting for users to wait a while to download the code to keep a balance of downloads and not bring the host down. You can get the code from http://source.android.com/.
